Who we are
Darwinian Angel Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through Qong Foo. Darwinian Angel Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company no. 14715407). Contact:

What we collect
- Account data — if you sign in: email address and authentication identifiers from your chosen sign-in provider.
- Waitlist data — if you join the waitlist: your email address and the optional "shrink arena" and "training focus" you select. Used to send you the Qong Foo onboarding email sequence.
- Progress data — your training progress (completed days, belts, lessons, chosen "shrink area"). Stored locally on your device, and synced to our backend if you are signed in.
- Anonymous usage events — page views and basic interaction events tied to a random device identifier, used to improve the product.
What we do not collect
We do not collect drill responses you type, journal entries, or any free-text reflections. Your training is private to you. Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information (for example health, legal or financial details) — Qong Foo is not designed to receive it.
Legal basis (UK GDPR)
We process account, waitlist and progress data on the basis of contract (delivering the service you signed up for) and anonymous usage events on the basis of legitimate interest (improving the product).
Sharing
We use Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting) and our email delivery provider (transactional and waitlist emails) as data processors. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing
hello@qongfoo.app. You can reset your training progress in-app from Profile → Reset Training. You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Retention
Account, waitlist and progress data is kept until you delete your account or unsubscribe. Anonymous events are retained for up to 24 months.
Children
Qong Foo is designed for users aged 16+ with guidance, or 18+ independently. It is not intended for children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
